The story behind the name
Why 64?
On 17 February 1964, Belgium and Morocco sign a labour agreement in Brussels. Thousands of men leave their villages for the coal mines of Limburg and Hainaut, and for the building sites, factories and railways of Brussels.
Sixty years later, their children and grandchildren are engineers, developers, entrepreneurs. Studio 64 carries that date the way you carry your parents’ name: to say where we come from, and to carry on what they started.

Build
They built the country’s physical infrastructure with their own hands: railways, roads, buildings, mines.
We build its digital infrastructure.

They supported their village by sending home part of their wages.
We support Agir Ensemble, here and in Morocco, with half of our profit.
Teach
The old hands taught the newcomers the trade, on site.
Young people, supported by professionals, learn digital skills by building our websites.
Hold on
They held on through their work, without waiting for anyone to help.
We help the association fund its own work, relying less on subsidies.
